Ceramic knives are made from zirconium oxide, one of the highest quality ceramic materials. A special production process is used to sinter the zirconium oxide microcrystals under high pressure at
approximately 1,800 degrees Celsius. This produces a material that is considerably harder than steel，second hardest to diamond.
Special machines are used in further manufacturing steps to whet and polish the material. The result is an even and tough surface combined with the sharpness of the ceramic blade,
ensuring an extremely smooth and clean cut.
Ceramic is impervious to rust and corrosion. Moreover, its complete chemical inertness means that ceramic can never alter the taste of any food item, no matter how delicate or subtle the flavor.
